Messages containing commands: The bot processes these for functionality but does not store message content beyond what is necessary for command execution.

Command usage logs: We may store anonymized or aggregated data about how commands are used to improve performance and detect abuse.
Error and diagnostic logs: To troubleshoot issues and ensure stability.

c. Dashboard Data

Account Authentication: When logging into the dashboard, we authenticate you via Discord OAuth2 to verify your identity.
Uploaded Files: If you upload .mp3 files to use within your server, we store these files securely for playback.
Server Settings: We store your preferences and customizations (such as assigned sounds and permissions) to provide functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

To provide and operate the SoundBoard bot and dashboard.
To allow you to upload and manage custom sound files.
To maintain service stability and security (e.g., preventing abuse).

3. Data Retention

Command & usage logs: Retained for up to 30 days before being anonymized or deleted.
Uploaded files & server settings: Retained until you delete them via the dashboard or remove the bot from your server. If you remove the bot, all related uploaded sounds and server settings will be deleted within 180 days.
Account data: Retained as long as your server uses the bot.

4. Data Sharing

We only share your data in limited circumstances:

Service Providers: With trusted third-party hosting or cloud providers who help us store files and run the service.
Legal Compliance: If required by law or valid legal request.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data (such as secure file storage and encrypted connections). However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
