- You may invite SoundBoard to your Discord server and use its features in accordance with these terms.
- You are responsible for any content you upload (e.g., custom sound files). You must ensure your use complies with applicable laws and does not violate copyright, intellectual property rights, or Discord’s policies.
- Misuse of the bot (including spam, harassment, malicious uploads, or attempts to disrupt service) may result in restrictions or removal of access.
3. Uploaded Content
- When you upload audio files via the dashboard, you retain ownership of your content.
- By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and play those files within your server(s) for the purpose of providing the service.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your uploaded files do not infringe on the rights of others.
4. Data and Privacy
- Our collection and use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- Uploaded sounds and server settings are retained until deleted by you, or up to *180 days- after you remove the bot from your server.
5. Premium Subscriptions
- Premium features may be offered for a fee through Discord’s subscription system.
- Payments, renewals, and cancellations are handled directly by Discord, Inc., and are subject to their Terms of Sale and billing policies.
- We do not collect or store your payment information.
- Premium features are tied to your Discord account or server as managed by Discord’s system.
- Refunds must be requested through Discord, as we cannot issue refunds directly.
6. Availability of Service
- We strive to keep SoundBoard available and functional, but we make no guarantees of uninterrupted uptime.
- Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice.
- We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, or unexpected issues.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use SoundBoard to:
- Upload, share, or distribute illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
- Violate Discord’s Terms of Service or applicable laws.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or otherwise interfere with the bot or dashboard.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
SoundBoard is provided *“as is” and “as available”- with no warranties, express or implied. We disclaim all responsibility for damages resulting from the use of the bot.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Loss of data, including uploaded sounds or server settings.
- Unauthorized access to your account or server through Discord.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to SoundBoard at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify users via our dashboard or support server. Continued use of SoundBoard after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
